VOLUNTEERING WITH RMLR

Everyone with Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue are all unpaid volunteers, even our board members, so we are always looking for more help. We understand that, like ourselves, families and paying jobs sometimes have to come first so any free time you have to offer to the dogs means so much! Our biggest need is transports, fostering and helping us review applications for adoption. We need people to conduct phone interviews and are always looking for people to help with events and occassionally doing home visits for potential adopters. Even though the dogs give so much gratification, we also try and make our group fun to work with, so we hope you will come join us in saving so many more well deserving dogs!!!

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED

Our foster homes are an essential entity of the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue. Without foster homes we can not operate. If you are interested in a lab or lab mix this is a perfect way to find out if you are ready for one. We do have some requirements and an application process. As we need and value you in order for this rescue to run, we will work with your needs as well as the needs of your family to make the transition of fostering a dog easy and smooth. We will also work with your time frames and do as much of the leg work as you need us to do. Please select the links below to see requirements and fill out an application. Plese note both links below were used from another rescues site. The requirements are a guideline and our perfect foster would look like this, however our lives are hectic and these dogs need to be saved so we are completely understanding and WILL WORK WITH YOU! Keep this in mind while reading.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO..

You can watch and ignore the problem or you could do something as small as influence one person to spay or neuter their pet and in the process save at least 7-10 dogs lives by preventing a litter of puppies. We hope you'll come and help us! We need your voice, your heart, your hands and more for these dogs.
