Several vets in the metro area have agreed to help out our new adopters (YOU) by giving a free initial exam of an adopted dog. The dog must see the vet within 10 days of the official adoption date! Some of the vets require copies of the RMLR Adoption contract as proof of adoption for the free exam, so take copies!  These are NOT RMLR's approved vets and do not give a discount to RMLR but have only offered to do free well checks to people that adopt from a shelter or rescue. Find the Vet that is closest to you on the list below and contact them to schedule your appointment. When you call make sure to mention that you are a RMLR new adoptee and want to take advantage of the free intial exam. We cannot guarantee that the vets listed below will have time for the exam so you may need to contact more than one. If you are Fostering a dog for RMLR DO NOT use this list to get medical attention for your foster dog.
