Harley/ Ridley is a happy guy. He's very energetic - still has some puppy energy in him. He seems to be mixed with border collie maybe? He has a high prey drive and loves to herd animals such as cows and sheep!! He needs a strong leader that has some experience with a herding dog. He has the brain of a border collie and the energy of a young lab. He seems to always be wagging his tail. We don't want this dog to be shuffled anymore than he has to be so please understand he has energy and must be exercised and trained!!! He's still super friendly, intelligent, very responsive when he is close, and loves people! He jumps fences and so this will take work to train out of him and he should never be trusted in a fenced area.

Gidget is a spunky, loving dog. She loves to play fetch, or just play with her toys. If you give her a rawhide and two tennis balls she will entertain herself for hours. She is accustomed to being in the house with her family and is easily managed. She is kennel trained. She knows basic commands and is working on her leash training. She loves people and attention but as she has a lot of excess energy, she would do better with children over the age of 12.
She has been known to have aggression issues with other dogs so a home without other cats or dogs is a must |

Nellie is a confident puppy, the leader of pack. She is energetic and would do well as a playmate for any other energetic buddies. As all puppies she will need continued socialization, training and lots of playtime. She is doing great on her potty training although she still requires a close eye and frequent trips outdoors. She is crate trained and has no problem sleeping through the night after a long day of playing. She loves to come in to rest belly up on her dog bed. This spunky little girl is sweet as can be and loves to be held and cuddled!

Zooky is a sweet, sensitive, cuddly little girl. At breakfast she can't decide whether she would rather eat or have her cuddles first. When she is not running around romping about with the other puppies she loves to snuggle up to her big Saint Bernard foster sister. She's great with other dogs and would appreciate continued socialization. Like all puppies she needs lots of love, exercise and training. Zooky is doing good on her house training but still needs reinforcement and frequent trips outdoors. She has no problem staying in her crate overnight. She is the perfect family dog!

We are happy to introduce Rillo as Mr. November! Rillo is a very energetic two year old vanilla lab. With a clean bill of health Rillo is looking for a strong patient dog savvy family who is willing to continue working on refining his manners. Rillo doesn't require long walks or trips to the dog park but would do great with a little bit of land so he can freely tromp about, run and explore. He enjoys a game of fetch but at times lets his curiosity take over leading him to check out new sights and smells. Rillo is accustom to being top dog and won't have it any other way. While he would accept the right female canine companion, males are not really an option for this macho man. He also insists on dining alone! Rillo gingerly takes treats from the little kids at his foster home but due to his size and strength we would recommend that this robust guy go to a family that has children a bit older. Rillo is a big fan of stuffed toys and often is seen meandering about with his favorite stuffed duck clenched securely in his mouth. Rillo is wonderful with people and like all dogs enjoys leaning in for belly and ear rubs.This diamond in the ruff will be a beautiful addition to a family willing to continue training him to is full potential and realize the joys of what it means to be a family dog! |

Rillo was rescued from a shelter. He was heartworm positive when he came to RMLR and has compeleted the treatment for that. Other than that, he is happy healthy and looking for his forever family.

Trance is a smallish Chocolate lab mix. He likes men but loves the ladies. At four years old Trance enjoys playing with other dogs but really tends to lean more toward the laid back side. In his foster home he is learning what it means to be loved as a family member and looks forward to a family of his own to dote on him and shower him with the love that he deserves. Life hasn't always been kind to this young guy which has left him with a raspy whisper of a bark. He is fully house trained. enjoys playing with toys and will shake for treats! |

Gus is a good-looking lab mix with a coat full of copper tones and a white splash on his chest accented by his all white toes. This friendly, energetic, happy go lucky pup loves playing with other dogs and would make a great companion for any other spunky canines. He is proud to say that he is house trained, crate trained and diligently working on his leash training. Gus is a very smart dog who is eager to please especially when treats are involved. He knows how to sit, lay and shake and is more than willing to demonstrate, again motivated by treats. Even though this sweet guy is great with other dogs he insists nothing beats the companionship of his human family. He loves to hike, walk or really anything that allows him to be next to his people. In the house there is no where Gus would rather be than curled up at the feet of his family, getting belly rubs or giving kisses. Gus is looking for an active family that is looking for a companion to keep them company whether hiking in the mountains or watching T.V. at home! |
